A team or an organization can accomplish so much more than an individual. Yet building a good team is not easy: although everyone knows that cooperation is essential, conflict is inevitable in any team. A conflict among team members can be both, productive and disruptive. Productive if it leads to competition, disruptive if it destroys the team. Perhaps it is the right amount of cooperation in competition which makes an excellent team. Michael Jordan said: Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships. And Henry Ford noticed: If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself.

Just a quick off-topic remark: I would be a bit more careful with the pictures from icanhascheezburger, dilbert and all the other pages. Those are copyrighted pictures that aren’t public domain or CC. Usually those sites dont take very kindly on people who are including “their” pictures in other sites as they have a deep financial interest in protecting “their” pictures. Maybe you should consider asking them or removing those pictures where you dont have a proper licence. Just a thought.
Hi Robert, thanks. I only use the embedding functions which theses sites offer. Icanhascheezburger for example offers a “Add this to your blog” function. The image which I have pasted here only contains a link to their site, the image itself is not uploaded here. Dilbert.com offers an “embed” function which works in a similar way, the code only contains an image with an url to their site. If they offer these functions, I can not see a severe problem in using them. I have not uploaded any images to these blog, and it is more a kind of advertising for these sites.
You’re right of course. If you use those services you should be clear. Haven’t checked that ;)
To be sure, I asked “icanhascheezburger” if one can use their embedding functions and here’s what they said: “That’s definitely fine. We just ask that our I Can Has Cheezburger watermark remains on the picture and that we’re credited for the picture.”
